Welcome to the Medina Democratic Club
Our club is open to anybody who wants to meet our elected Democratic officials, learn how to run for office, help a Democratic candidate become an elected official, socialize with fellow Democrats and learn about issues that affect Medina County, Ohio.

At the November 7 meeting on Zoom, we discussed the election results and the need to recruit future local candidates.
No meetings in June, July and August but visit the Medina County Democratic Party Headquarters, 1065 N. Court Street, Medina.
At our May 2 meeting at the Medina County District Library, we heard from Dr. Amy Burkett of Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights and Denise C. Woods of the Sierra Club. Candidates Matt Diemer, Bradford Scott Quade, Carol Brenstuhl and Ralph Jocke also spoke. Members brought 60 boxes of macaroni & cheese and $232 to donate to Feeding Medina County.
At our April 4 meeting, Ben Prochaska, a Medina County resident and president of the Students Against Gun Violence group at The Ohio State University, spoke about Ohio's gun laws. Member Sandy Varndell provided another One Green Minute to help the environment.
At our March 7 meeting, the two Democratic primary candidates for Ohio Supreme Court spoke to our members via Zoom. They were followed by Dale Miller, of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), who discussed plastic bags and more. Then member Sandy Varndell provided another One Green Minute about helping the planet survive human behavior.

We promote the goals of the Democratic Party at the national, state, and local level. We encourage active participation in the elective process and in the community at large. We provide an open forum for political discussion and debate.
